Yep. I have a battery charger that makes a high pitched noise even higher than this one. It's just in my range of hearing and really annoying. It was obviously designed by and only tested on grownups.
Of course, I have to leave this thing running for extended periods of time if I want my camera to work at all. :(
Yeah, I have trouble with electronics making that same sort of noise....luckily they're not usually quite as high-pitched as that. But the fact that I can hear it but my mom can't would explain why I can hear when the TV has actually turned on and when it hasn't.
(Can you tell we have trouble with that a lot? :D My mom wonders why the TV isn't coming on, and I say "Because you pressed it twice, I heard it come on and turn back off...there! you got it that time!") lol
